The Charter of the Covenant of Conatus Sponte
We have created some rough 'areas of responsibility' - more in the nature of "who reports to everyone else about whats happening" sort of responsibility rather than "who controls this stuff" responsibility.
Along with the Magi 'provisionally' assigned to them, here are the areas and some of what they include.
- Chairman? - ???
- Someone to be 'in charge'? Do we even need one? Most other covenants seem to have one. :)
- Library - Quintus
- Records, repair/improvement of books, copies required, arranging to fill gaps or requests.
- Defence - Teuthras
- Turb equipment/training, physical defenses (walls etc?), magical defenses.
John: This should probably be -magical- defence, since Teuthras probably could not tell the dangerous end of spear from the safe end.
- Magical supplies - Teuthras
- Includes proper allocation, ensuring aegis requirements are met, artifact recovery/storage/monitoring, vis trading, arranging for increase.
- Hermetic relations - Renee
- Making friends/allies, the Locranon situation, ????.
John: I vote not letting Quintus handle this task. If he does, then we may as well let Teuthras look after Mundane Relations and all commit suicide now.
- Mundane relations - Renee
- Mundane covenfolk accomodations and morale, interactions with local rulers etc, companions needs.
- Boring administration - seneschal
- Money, food, water, lab equipment, specialist equipment.
- Turb maintenance? - captain?
- Someone to keep the turb trained and equipped. Probably a mundane with some military experience.
Phoca indicated some interest in being assigned some duties somewhere... (probably in relations with mundanes or covenfolk - she likes looking after people, when not in arcane studies)
