Olivier, a local lad

Olivier is a fairly young Cathar lad who has a gift for sneaking about and who can see things that others cannot normally see. He has been pursued by Bishop Maximillian for recruitment into his mysterious religious order, although the magi of Infractus Summus Redivivus have forbidden this. Sir Bertrand seems to treat Olivier as some kind of 'lucky charm' and likes to use him as a scout. Olivier is currently working in the House at Pech de Bugarach as servant.

Sertorius has taken an interest in the lad and is experimenting by offering him some personal responsibilities which will hopefully round out his character and allow him to develop personally. Knowing from experience that looking after an animal can build responsibility as well as confidence Sertorius has began by giving Olivier an abandoned lamb to rear. Olivier has previously earnestly expressed his desire to be a shepherd so fulfilling this desire is a positive first step.

Sir Bertrand thinks Olivier would make a fine doctor, and has half-heartedly tried to encourage Rafi to take him on as a student.
