Summary:
It is sometimes spoken over great feasts that the man to hear, if you are at all interested in the harpsichord, is Marcel White of Avalon. Though, he is not really of Avalon, he is from Trinsic. Actually, he was born in Swordhold. He speaks rarely of his origins, and so rarely are they mentioned by his fans. He was the fourth born child of Gaspard White and Mirielle Swordhold. Though he attends to his dress and etiquette as if born from privilege, he is actually the child of a barmaid and a dockworker. Unlike the charmed and lucky life he now leads, he was born under ominous signs, and remains ostracized by his mother's superstitious family. He now lives a free and adventuring lifestyle, but he was trained in his youth to be a domestic servant. He was freed from the restrictions of his birth by his exceptional talent for music. Since his small beginnings as the musical hallboy of Lord Vipond, he has become a major proponent of the harpsichord as a serious instrument. Originally pursuing the perfection of his art in isolation from the world, he has taken on adventuring as a source of inspiration and understanding.
