Pastor Hawthorne was born in Georgia and lived on his families farm until he left to begin training as a Lutheran Minister. He was noticed by a group of freelance exorcists and occult experts during his training, he frequently butted heads with his superiors and enjoyed legwork more than quite contemplation. He was recruited by them and given a gradual introduction into the secret war raging all around them. Over the next few decades he work across America in his chosen career amassing a great deal of knowledge in dealing with supernatural phenomena. His long career came to an abrupt end when he lost his arm while investigating a death cult in Wisconsin, instead of retiring from the profession entirely he used his contacts to act as a go between between people who require the services of professional ghost hunters, occultists and exorcists. His latest project was to bring together several teams of people with highly diverse skills all over the country in order to help facilitate the increased activity against the rising darker forces in the world.
Pastor Hawthorne is well aware of the vast majority of the threats that face the world today, he has made an exhaustive study of the Beowulf's Blades and several of their splinter cults and is focus most of his energies tracking their movements across America.
Once of his regular clients is the Office of Extraordinary Investigations.
