Andreas is a senior officer in the Beowulf's Blades holding the rank Schlatmagier or battle magician, it is unclear how this rank fits in with the larger SS rank structure but he appears to have been in charge of a large soul harvesting project in New York that was recently shut down by the party and the CIA - E Division. Andreas himself was killed in the last shootout, more precisely his jaw was shot off and he suffered multiple other gunshot wounds, instances of blunt trauma and third degree burns. Before this happened he injected a strange substance into himself which gave him a temporary boost of survivability for what little good it did.
Andreas appears to be a competent magician, he is capable of projecting lightning as well as the ability to manipulate the human soul and apparently summon daemons.
