Telling stories and sharing jokes are common pastimes for many of the residents that inhabit the isolated forestland of Spiritwood. One of the first questions asked of any traveler is, "What news?" After all, what better way to pass an evening than to sit down by a fire and recount tales? Old and young alike enjoy hearing news and stories from the other parts of Britannia, as well as retelling ancient fables passed down through the generations.
This is a short collection of stories meant to impart important life lessons to young, stubborn fledgling heroes. Encompassing traditional themes as well as historical events, the tales may be familiar even to those outside of Spiritwood.
