Any parties so charged shall be tried in public court, and upon establishment of guilt, shall be punished in relation to the severity of the crime. Punishments include, but are not limited too, public flogging, imprisonment relative to the circumstances of the crime, and ultimately, death by hanging.
Article 38940 - The Smugglers Act
It is hereby declared that any person or organization found smuggling contraband goods (please refer to article 3054b in the Roesonean Code of Laws for such items) shall immediately be stripped of any and all rank, title honours and or right of peerage they may claim, and may immediately forfeit any and all holdings, possessions, and other assets (either known or unknown) which were gained by such activity to the Crown of Roesone, and are forthwith not permitted to extend any future or continued influence, be it political, economical, religious or otherwise, within the boundaries of the realm of Roesone and it’s colonies.
Article 38942 - The Roesonean Defense & Internal Securities Act
(Being a modified provision to the standing act instituted this day of Sarimiere 552 M.R.)
Only those legally and rightfully bearing the official Royal Seal of the Roesone ruling family and it’s officers, vassals, or representatives may dispense, administer, enforce, or otherwise represent the pursuit of justice within the Barony of Roesone. Any foreign or domestic organizations, persons, or individuals which attempt to displace, contradict, convene or otherwise wrongfully represent or enforce the rightful and lawful rule of the Roesone family and it's organizations, shall immediately be found guilty of treason. All lands, monies, properties or titles, either known or unknown, held in possession (either directly or indirectly) by any guilty parties, shall immediately be forfeit and are subject to confiscation by the Crown of Roesone. All guilty parties will be held indefinitely without right of trial, recourse, negotiation, representation, exception, or other considerations for a period no less than one year, and shall suffer questioning and interrogation. Upon the completion of this period, the guilty party shall be brought forth and publicly flogged, after which time the aforementioned party(s) shall suffer death by being drawn and quartered.
Article 38943 - The Political Representation & Immigration Act
Any foreign organizations, governments, religious institutions, or other bodies or individuals, either known or unknown, who represent by deed, policy, or device, any political, economical, religious, or other power, must first seek admittance from the Crown before they may lawfully establish interests within Roesonean sovereign territory. Failure to do so may result, at the decision of the Baroness and her council, in the total and complete confiscation of all lands, holdings, organizations, assets, gains or titles incurred within Roesone under such circumstance.
Article 38944 - The Armed Bodies Act
There shall be no formal and organized bodies of armed and martially trained men held in private contract, by any individual(s), political entities, units, organizations, or bodies, setting aside the regent’s own military and legally existing bodies, representatives, or sirect vassals within Roesonean borders, greater in number than 100 persons, without prior and specific permission from the Royal Crown of Roesone. This writ may be granted upon acceptance of application for the sum of 2 gold bars per year. Failure to comply with this proclamation shall be deemed as a rebellious act against the good will of the Crown, and all parties risk declaration as traitors and brigands, and are thence subject to the punishments of such crimes, as detailed in article 38942 - The Roesonean Defense Act.
Article 38946 - The Domestic Fortifications Act
(Being a new provision instituted this day of Sarimiere 552 M.R.)
(a) The Baronial treasury shall set aside such monies as it is able each season for the express purpose of dispensing subsidies and assistance to it’s direct vassals, representatives, officers and political bodies for the express purpose of encouraging fortification of provincial holdings and such defensive improvements as are deemed necessary by the provincial Counts in order that the lands, holdings and citizens of Roesone be protected from foreign threat.
(b) Aside from the lawful representatives, organizations, and bodies of the Crown of Roesone, named above, or those already in existence at the time of this enactment, no dwelling, either private, public or otherwise, may be constructed so as to delay, prevent, or otherwise hinder the duties of the lawful forces of the Crown or it's military bodies and officials. Any person or organization wishing to so fortify their dwellings, places of business, or other building that fail to qualify for the above prescribed assistance in clause 38946(a), must first submit a proposal and application to the Crown and the respective Provincial Count, detailing the need and all planned construction details, in order that they might receive a license granting them the right to so construct such dwellings upon acceptance of said application.
